for some strange reason alot of people have these misconceptions… I blame atkins

@conimahoni Asians eat white rice is mainly the only carb they eat and they eat alot of veggies so it equals out. Americans on the other hand eat bread, potatoes ,and alot of sugar which turns to carbs. It’s best to buy whole grain rice ,noodles, and bread. and eat lots of veggies and fruit. thats what im doing no i call it my japanese diet lol.

gav, the internet attracts very negative people. They live lonely lives pathetic lives, and this is a way for them to bring out their frustration on life. If they’re not being negative about Dr. Oz, they’re being negative about someone or something else.

    1. ShelterDogs June 20th, 2010 at 7:10 pm

Dr. Oz has addressed this before on Oprah. You can go to farmer’s markets as they often have cheaper prices than supermarkets. Frozen vegetables are very cheap ($1.25 pound bag). Oatmeal (rolled) is pretty cheap (around $3.30 for a 48 ounce container). You can even get frozen fruits. I only pay $2.00 for a pound of frozen wild blueberries at Trader Joe’s. So there are ways around it. Going to the $1 dollar menu at McD’s will cost one a lot more money in pills and heart surgery down the road.

This quack doesn’t give a damn about his patients, and barely shows up for post-operative care, even when there are severe complications. The man is scum.

We should also be thinking of ways to make a healthy diet for everyone that is cost effective, delicious and won’t spoil so easily. With our ability to process and refine foods, that shouldn’t bee too hard. The problem is that thats not in the best interest of the corporate tyrants running the food here in America. We need to send a message. Americans deserve quality, healthy foods at a good price!
