Excellent information and great video. Thank you. Just a question, can we add essential oils into the mixture of baking soda and apple cider vinegar to create a nice healthily perfurmed bubble bath?

Hi Jeannie, vinegar and baking soda are important everyday products I use about our home, but your suggestion of aluminum foil, baking soda and hot water in our stainless steel sink to clean silverware was a novel idea for me.
In fact, I just tried it, but after 2 hours of soaking my tarnished silverware, NOTHING happened. Where did I go wrong?

I use vinegar and baking soda to clean everything. .25 detergent to .75 baking soda cleans dishes in the dish washer, baking soda to clean the tub/shower, vinegar in the sink and toilet, vinegar on the counter tops and floors. I even have switched to using baking soda to wash my hair (given I have really short hair).

Baking soda is also great to use to wash your fruits and veggies before you eat them.

Great video! I have been looking for someone to explain to me why baking soda, vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, and vodka work. Keep up the good work and please make some more videos. Thanks

Great video Jeannie! Thanks for the helpful tips. The thing I was always worried about with all natural cleaning is mixing the wrong ingredients together and causing an explosion or something. I read that you should never mix ammonia and bleach together since it causes deadly fumes.

Thanks, I did learn a big lesson last time we were in the hospital- you would not believe how many instances we have- I bring them up to the head nurses and DR’s- there are so many people that do not – its terrible! thank you, we expect my daughter will make it! I did want to know if alot of use of this would hurt her- I have to keep her clean so she wont get sick! its terrible and scary when she does,

Don’t rely on the hospital for health. Look at the foods they feed their patients. Probably the same or worse foods that caused most of their patients to be there in the first place. Sorry about your daughter I pray that she can overcome her cancer. Don’t blindly follow the system, make your own mind, look at the alternatives.

Alcohol is not a healthy chemical hopefully you already understand that. Then take into consideration that skin is a porous organ. It absorbs many things. So alcohol placed on the skin will absorbed. I don’t really think its going to create that much of a problem. Hospitals use it cause it is the safest, most cost effective way to sanitize the skin before doing an injection. But I wouldn’t use to do routine things such as cleaning your hands. Use non toxic soap and water.

what I mean is if My daughter has Cancer I need to know- have proof of why this is harmful to her and how? why would this hospital allow it on the sickest kids in the world if it is harmful? can u tell me that????? I really would like an answer to HOW is it harmful? what will it do? why do they sell it at the store- why is there no warning lable about this harm>????

How does that mean its ok? Does that mean McDonald’s is ok because some people eat it all day everyday? That doesn’t make it healthy. Just because your alright with it and your child doesn’t mean others should.

The bubblebath thing doesn’t work. Water dilutes the reaction

    1. nowaterboy July 30th, 2010 at 2:01 pm

Does the vodka have to be diluted with water in a spray bottle?

Thank you for your very helpful hints. I was wondering if that’s a microwave behind your head? It’s another thing to think about getting rid of for a healthier home environment!
